Emily Higginbotham is a writer and journalist based in New York.
She is interested in writing long from stories about the big forces in our world that shape our daily lives. In her spare time, you can find her toiling with creative works of both fiction and non-fiction.
In the past, her writing has been featured in publications in St. Louis and Maine where she wrote about education, state and local politics, crime, business, the arts as well as right wing extremism. At the age of 22, she was the youngest daily newspaper columnist in Maine with her bi-weekly column, Notes from a Novice, in which she wrote about Millennial culture, technology and local issues.
